Low Flush Toilets:
- Your ultra low flush toilet is of high quality and low maintenance. The 1994 UPC (code) requires" low flush toilets 1.6 gallon per flush rather than 3.5 gallons. Low flush toilets do require a little more care. Often you will need to flush twice waste once and paper once. Toilet paper is the only thing that should go down your toilet.
- No tampons, paper towels, diapers or hand wipes should be flushed down these toilets. You also need to be careful of two ply toilet paper. Water level adjustments are sometimes required, do not bend the ball rod. Adjust the set screw at the top of the ball cock shut off. Also, beware that tank cleaners and chemicals can warp and cause deterioration of your rubber flapper. It is recommended that you purchase a plunger for the occasional overload.
Shower Heads:
- All of your shower heads have been factory equipped with water saver restrictors. Your pressure may be fine coming into the house, but the restrictor will cause a low flow at the shower head. Th1s flow may also cause you to have to wait a bit longer than usual for hot water. Because there is not a restrictor at the tub spout, running hot water there first will produce hot water much quicker.
- Your lavatory faucets have also been equipped with water saver aerators. These aerators will need to be cleaned periodically to keep them clear with an even stream of flow. Shower heads and aerators can be soaked m vinegar overnight to clean water deposit build up.
- Your kitchen sink faucet is also equipped with a low flow aerator at the nozzle head. Since

Remember gravity and water are all that pushes these items down the line. We advise you do not put these types of things in your disposal, but if you do, please put a little in at a time with running water.
